Remove top eleven friends?

How do I remove a friend on this game?
I was able to remove someone last season but cant remember how, he wasn't a facebook friend this one is. Does that make a difference,

if u re friens is a facebook friend u have to delete him from fb but if its someone u added inside top eleven u click on his team and on thw window that pops up in u re up left side is that option u want

You can't remove a friend from game if you have him on facebook. The only way is to remove him from facebook friends

- Open his profile in the game

- Click the little red X you will see at the top right corner in his**profile's avatar

I have similar problem. The friend I want to remove simply does not remove...
I added him in FB, I remember. Removed him from FB, but he is still in my friends list in-game.
There's no X in his profile in the game. I checked few times my FB friends and he is not there anymore.
Still, no matter I've removed him from FB, he is still my in-game friend.
I want to get rid of him and I need help to do it, lol

I actually have 1 or 2 people as well, which I removed on fb a long time ago and they don't go away ingame.

There should be a colour red "x" on top right right corner of your friend pic/avatar. Click on that and you are done.

This is for same server friends.
From fb there are some deleted friends staying for a long time.
