How to make people get off bidding wars ?

Haha, i hate ppl doing bidding wars when i really need a player..
So i was thinking to come up with some changes on facebook profile picture with this one

Probablly this would have the opposite efects, ppl would want to win the bidding war even more.

Honestly, the best way to get people off bidding wars is to be a token buyer with multiple scouts with special abilities. If I see someone has multiple players off the scout list or multiple nordgen players i automatically assume the person could potentially have infinite tokens.

Some players from Asia never seem to want to lose auctions, and I am not sure they always speak english, so that picture might not work against them

I'm having problems with ppl from Greece haha, a guy made me waste 43 tokens for 5stars 18y.o DC at 6am... never expected ppl to be up so early, i was trying to get that player cause i pretty much needed it price went up from 1.8mil to 3.6mil, had negative balance for 5 days haha, thanks god cup & C/L games give you a good income..
I usually keep an eye on players that i would like to have, even when i got no tokens to buy them.. they get sold in round 1-2 most of the times..Different story when i try to get a player
Best auction result was... 5Star 20y.o MC on Round 4
Worse is that 43 round DC... as average i would say that its about 10-12.

Problem is, you will never know who is on the other end of the bidding war.

I am running my team at the moment with 3 six star players, 11 five stars, and the rest being four stars. I am planning to slowly run my team down in quality, while keeping it good enough to get promoted, before going all out buying high 5 star players again.

Anyone looking at my team as I start to rebuild would think I would either have only a few tokens, or a small stockpile. As things currently stand I have a few thousand in my account. I could in theory be a very expensive bidding opponent to someone who wouldn't see me as a threat.

I've been in wars with some who have teams full of five and six star players, who after the bidding has got to around round ten they have just left - assumingly because they feel that they can just get another player without the hassle. If you are up against a token buyer they might just decide its not worth bidding over and over again for a five star player when they can just pick a scout up instead.

I'm pretty sure that a 18y.o 5star(close to 6) is alot better than any of the scouts so in my eyes they'r are worth as much as any scout, or even more..

Its a big world out there - always someone up. Sometimes they're thinking the same too like, "why they making me use 44 tokens to get this player, don't they know I never lose".
