I find that not all players really play well with a SA.
For example I have two players in my squad that have free kick SA.
One of them has a ridiculously good record of scoring from free kicks - he's almost like a David Beckham clone with a dead ball. The other, well he needs like 10 attempts to get it in.
SA is ONLY useful when the player is already good at that role as it adds % to the current ability.

I believe it is a star's worth, so yes percentage wise it becomes less of an advantage in higher levels.
But then, as it can still be an advantage, it might be worth having even that little edge.![]()
Expressed above is my own opinion. ☻ Your results may vary.

It could be a star worth, but if it is then it is only useful for one level unless he maintains the star next season. But given that I have a CK taker who is always providing assists from corners (3 stars, Level 9 team & 5 star, Level 10 team), I like to think it's a %, coz then it would make sense.
But again, the point is that, someone who consistently misses penalties will not be an overnight PK specialist if you just slap a SA on him. So to a certain extent, I stress on "certain extent", the SA is cosmetic unless you create one yourself after gauging your player's ability without the SA.

Before I fret about how much difference it makes I'd rather know what it makes a difference to...just a simply little useful tooltip edit would do.
I'd be more inclined to think its a constant +%age - devs seem to like that style of buffing because it gives a guaranteed minimum.
But no idea if that fits with T11 cos I don't know if there is any scaling taking place on 1* players relative to higher ones.
