You just gotta find out by yourself. Set a high price and lower it by 1-2 untill the fans fill up the stadium or set a low price and raise it by 1-2 untill the stadium is not full anymore

Generally ( current level + 1 ) is the optimal ticket price......

Do both the above. And remember that maximising ticket income might not fill your stadium and therefor not give the maximum possession bonus.

My league price is currently level +3 = 6 for max attendance (+4 for CL also max attendance; Cup is a further +1 but I'm never in it long enough to remember to check).

But I'm only level 3 so it maybe is slightly different higher up.

Friendlies always have to be kept an awful lot lower than everything else - I have my friendlies on $2 and I'm level 4, and I still don't get a full stadium!

Couple of weeks back, I had about 10k fans and 6000 seater stadium and was finding it difficult to fill my stands for home stadium with 6$.
I upgraded the car parking couple of levels upto lvl 4 now and have full stadium even with 8$ price

My experience is that there are more than ticket price that affects the attendance

Yes, I'd agree - it also depends on your car park, like you said and your recent results to give a couple of examples.
