What have you learned from last season?

That my team was stronger than I thought. Had the idea of trying to promote keeping the same players as the season before as I'd like to see how they would do. Expected to be there or there abouts for a promotion spot. In the end I lost the title today on the last game - so they did better than I expected.

Where did you place last season?

Won one round of the cup, before crashing out. Got to the CL final but lost 2-1 after ET. Finished 2nd in the league. Not bad to say there were 4 teams with way stronger sides than me in the league and I beat 3 stronger teams in the CL.

What's your current level?

I will be level 18 at the start of the new season.

What's your budget for this season?

1.51B in cash prior to prize money being given out.
A tad over 6,000 in Tokens.
428 Reds.
403 Blues.
409 Greens.

I am setting myself a personal target to have more tokens by the end of the season than I do on day 1 - so whatever I spend, if I spend any, in the market need to be farmed back straight away.

Who do you want to replace?

Not too sure at the moment. I've surfed with the same team now for 4 seasons, so a fair bit of running repair could be in order. I plan to evaluate once the league placements have been made. I may give my team 7 days to see how they settle into season 18, replacing like for like if needed.

What are your goals for this season?

Just to promote. If I could sneak into the CL again and keep that up then even better. 17 consecutive seasons of being promoted so that has to continue as the absolute minimum. I've always finished in the top 4 (only once out of the top 3) so I would like to push towards that again.

I will use some of my tokens (all farmed) if I feel I am struggling to hit the promotion target. As I still view myself to be on a low level I don't see much point in getting an overly powerful team now as I believe the tokens can be better used at a later date - and I am not sure how long I can devote to farming or how easy it will remain to do.
