Not if you live in the UK, free token offeres are many, I have never spent a penny and never will yet I can buy a complete new 11 of scouts every season!.
I live in Glasgow and don't get many free tokens, 1 per day and 2 after 4 days, I've spent a lot on this game and still get beat of teams with far lower quality and teams with no upgrades to stadium ect !!! Is playing it on iPad any different from playing on a laptop ??? As I won my first league & came 2nd in season 2 yet it says on my profile that I've came 2nd & 3rd in my last 2 seasons ??? Thanks for any advice.
I'd amend that to 'Not if you're me', seeing as the rest of us in the UK have no access to the 500-1000 free tokens a season you are on about! :DQuote:

i can only get health, money, first aid or morale packs by watching videos. If you can get token by watching videos it is just another case of 'not a level playing field' by T11

The video offers are all put up by 3rd parties (Token Ads, Matomy, etc), presumably in your country those 3rd parties have been able to persuade any advertisers to pay for packs (which cost less than tokens) only. It's in the interests of those providers, and Nordeus, to provide as much as possible in as many places as possible since they make money off the advertisers (the same as Nordeus does for selling Tokens). But if the advertiser's only selling its products in the UK, or Japan, or Timbuktu, why should they pay to advertise to people elsewhere?
I'm lucky in that (a) I live the UK, and (b) I own both a laptop and an iPad - there are health/morale/etc packs available on iPad for watching videos (very occasionally there are watch-videos for tokens offers too), and tokens/packs for watching videos on laptop. On the flip side, buying tokens costs more in the UK than it does in other countries (when I was in New Zealand on holiday in Febuary they were nearly half the price there - but you couldn't watch videos for tokens).
Personally I choose not to buy tokens, but being able to "farm" 3 or 4 a day means that I can augment my squad with a couple of scouts a season, and I contribute to the maintenance of the game.
I disagree with the OP.
Second season, i spent some cash, not much, but I wanted to get it out of my system and buy tokens. Then after that, I found it to be waste of time to buy tokens when you can save the daily tokens. i am in my 12th season in, and only brought 2 scout players that last for about 180 games each. I am still very successful winning leagues or finishing in top 2-4. WOn the league 6 times, few times runner up, won cup once but been in the finals three times. The only cup I am not winning or getting far in is the Champions league which mentioned before, I get knocked out by much stronger teams who see to purchase very good players.
Going for the younger players are good, but you have to waste tokens bidding against the people who have it seems unlimited tokens to spare. So now I tried the last two seasons to go for veterens. Although they last about 2 seasons, but... I am still winning, and also saving lots of tokens each day. :)

So point of my post is to disagree with the OP view that once teams start spending cash on tokens, they have to spend all the time.
That's pretty much exactly how I play the game, except that I use the Academy players mostly, instead of veterans from the transfer market, and tank every few seasons to compensate for thatQuote:
