    offside trap

    what is offside trap for? Playing that for 3 seasons but still dont know what is it for.

    Yes the offside works...But the foul from offside has not been included in the commentary...

    It will only appear in the commentary when a player successfully breaks the offside trap...

    The commentary will be something like this : XYZ is looking to break the OFFSIDE trap......

    It is exactly what it is in real football. You try to bring your defensive line high up the pitch, and then when the attacker begins his run, you move forward to trap him offside. It works when the other team does not have an attacking midfield player, and your defenders are faster then his strikers. It is an aggressive strategy, so usually you would not use it with a defensive mentality
