Nordeus wants me to play the game. If all of my games occur when I am not available, why should I play? Sure, I can spend 26 tokens to change all of my home games times, but that is a deterrent for my continued play.

If I can choose all of my home times before the schedule comes out, I am more likely to play.

A few seasons ago, Nordeus scheduled matches between 1000 and 2300 GMT with games as close as 15 minutes apart. Now games are scheduled from 0400 GMT to 2400 GMT with a minimum of 3 hours between games.

If they could figure out that change, they can figure out how to allow me to have an option of saying:
Schedule league home games between 2300 GMT and 0100 GMT if possible.
Schedule cup/champions league home games between 1000 GMT and 1200 GMT if possible.

Of course, this is a preference and the games are not guaranteed to fall in the selected time frame.

But it would be a whole lot better than the random times we get now.
