Why can't you lower the price of a player?

I've been trying to sell this player for a week now, even did the old trick of changing his name to a real player but nobody's biting. Looks like I'll have to sack him and lose money, but I'd rather drop his price which is a minimum of £11m and level 71 to half which would prob get him sold.

Probably because there's a risk of collusion by managers. It wouldn't be very fair if opposing owners were setting very small prices on very good players for their friends, while potentially setting them very high for others.

At least, that's my guess.

If someone sets the price very low everyone would bid on the player, which would in turn cost everyone tokens and get nordeus more money. Look for this feature to be implemented soon!

No point of selling a player this far in the season, just wait for the new season to start and sell him then.

Just wait until Thursday or Friday, a lot of people prepare there next season on those days, to avoid the bid wars of first week.
But they are looking for high Q player that would be near the next star, that way they buy now a 5* player that Will gain again the 5th star in few days or with a but of training.
