    they are probably trying to lower there overall Q to get a better cup draw

    Doesn't work! as the cup draw is based only on your top 14 players, unless they want to forsake them, which I doubt. or else I would buy near the end of the season (which I've done) 12 release players for 12 tokens and drop 5 stars!

    Maybe he doesn't plan to sell them all, and he is going after fast trainers to keep.

    Also: maybe he just likes messing with lower level managers and he doesn't care how much tokens he has to buy for it
