how to sell players through Negotiations?

And a question from me: in order to keep a player in Nego list do I get him to 1SP from next star and stop training him at all or do I just train him normally but don't assign further SPs and just leave them hanging there?

if it`s player you defo going sell then still train and if you get 40/50 skill points either add S/A or another position as these player`s are easier to sell as long as they are young enough say 25/26 yrs old
