Our new signings Jeremie Upton and Ian Thorpe performs very well in their debut match. They have helped the team beating illegal Level 5 team Marcin FC 6-0.

The away leg in the Cup turned out even better: 8-0 (15-0 on agg) and we're through!
We set up the hexagon formation and we're expecting to use it more often since we now have a legitimate AML. So we start out with a free-kick converted on 8th minute by our GK Tamir Ben-Zaken, his first ever goal in the Cup (a special salute to him having reached 100 apps for the club coming soon in team's showcase thread)! 12th minute McInnes nutmegs his opponent and scores. El Rayes gets his two minutes of fame as he scores twice on 35th and 36th minute (1st goal assisted by Walker). On 55th minute Auremir da Silva comes back on scoring tracks! McInnes helps Ross Russell to score on his debut after just playing 64 minutes for us. Not a bad start for a DL/DC! 72nd minute McInnes with the nutmeg again! And on 77th minute Walker finishes the scoreline.

A. I learnt that I could dominate the league without buying scout players by tweaking my formation and countering my opponents formation.

Q. What are your goals for this season?
A. My goals for this season are to finish in the top four and go as far as possible in both the Cup and Champions League.
Cup P1: Buffs start Season 5 with an unchanged side. In the Cup Preliminaries they are drawn against a same quality level 7 Portuguese side and win 4-0 on their travels.
Scorers: Billy McNeill (12), Kenny Dalglish (19, 88) and Paul McStay 956).
Graeme Souness was stretchered off with a Groin Strain (2 days).
Cup P2: Buffs FC finish the job at home with a 6-0 win (agg 10-0). As the opposition came out again in a 4-4-2 (its almost as if they had no manager) Buffs Mad switched from 4-5-1V for this to play 4-3N-1-2 and with Dalglish out injured Joe Jordan got a starting spot - James McFadden also featured as AMC with Buffs wingers rested until the half-time switch to 3N-4-1-2.
Scorers: McFadden (2, 37), Jordan 43, 75) & Law (79, 90).
Buffs Mad said "Its a disappointing day to see we only managed 29 shots at goal - but their GK was on fire with 4 outstanding saves."
Didn't do a "What have I learned?" yesterday.
I have learned -
1. In the right hands with the right orders and with the appropriate skilled players Defensive Counterattacking is an extremely powerful option - a Quality Buster;
2. No matter how hard I stare at stats and think about it, I can see nothing that stands out to say that Man on Man Marking does anything;
3. That Whole Pitch Pressing seems to behave differently according to Mentality and Formation rather than a naive view that it will Force Whole Pitch Pressing regardless;
4. Arrows are about skill selection and motivation not position;
5. My bum does look big in this.

Out of the Cup once again...
Its just ridiculous and I dont take it serious anymore!
After a 0:1 loss in the first leg which was completely not understandable why we lost we just managed to win 3:2 at home in the 2nd leg and drop out one more time just cause of the home goals rule.
