What do I do with unneeded young U12 players?

Always sign 0 token youth players!! You can sell them for good money instead of just releasing for free!

As for the other player if you really really have no way to get tokens then release him or wait 7 days till he leaves by himself, I think there's no difference.

And when will the new players arrive is shown in your stadium section when you klick on U21 facility:

Sound advice. Many people on here have extoled the virtues of the free players if power-trained, but I've not seen it myself.

I've also found that the token-purchased youth players tends not to be worth the investment, but have seen posts stating the opposite.
