I think the rules of illegal formation have changed.

My greatest rival in the league plays a 2-1-4-1-2 formation and he does not get 20% possession in every match. He WON 8 out from 9 games except i beat him 3-1 in the first game.Did the rules change or we can play 2 dc and dmc without become illegal?

Did he maybe play an opponent who also had an illegal formation?
Winning is not a sign for not getting the 20% penalty.
Please post screen captures of the game formations so we can help...

My guess is he switches the formation when he gets into a game, thus fixing the illegal formation. But it will still show up in the match report as an illegal formation.

And sometimes illegal ones win. Without watching his matches you won't know

But you can't win 8 out of 9 games by playing illegal formation......

No of course not,unless you have a 9* star team and your league half that.. But MOSTLY I meant he should watch a couple matches to see.

Your opponent is fooling you! He starts a match with that formation and immediately changes to his real formation. Since match stats that you're checking only show formations at the START of the match but possession counted from WHOLE match that's why it seems that he plays illegal and doesn't get 20% possession.

yesterday i watched his live match and i found he changed it to 3-4-3. Ya he is fooling me.
