in my next match I will be using a formation with only 1 striker . My team possess 2 very good strikers (5*) and my MC's are 4* and 3*. My question is , would you place a very good striker on MC position to substitute 3* player ? thx

No, I wouldn't, you will lose possession 5% at least, and depending on the player he will mostly like suck at that position!
ST <=> AMs
AMs <=> MCs
MCs <=> DMs
Dms <=> Ds
Maybes' ?
xL <=> xC <=> cR again a good maybe they will perform?
ST<=/=>Ms is a no! There will be exceptions, I am talking about the general rule, your ST will more than likely do a 7 or less!
Toss up between correct counter formation with players out of position, or bad counter with people in the right places, depends on your opponent really?

And everyone knows u get trolled anyway, so even with ur best formation u never guaranteed to win, so yes u don't regret a thing, if u don't try out n lose anyway o just draw then u would regret not have done anything different :) it's 3 points, no competition is decided on that hahaha
I usually will only play a guy one spot out of position but I have also put L's in for R's and they got 7's. So while I wouldn't do it always (barring the ML/DML/DL I have that prefers DC spot) if you feel the formation is called for, it can be worth it. :D
