Not if they are close to 7* and are 22-25 years old. I established earlier this season that the cut off age for Power Training a player is 25. Once a player turns 26 the rate of growth slows down.

yes i bought 2 and both are 22 and 23 and close to 7 .. they gain 120 points out of hard 60% session (40% of what my other 18yo are getting for same amount of training).. but now stopped PT and play them more matches instead and my best winger get 160 points per game as he keep getting MOM. am investing all my greens on those 18yo players who gain more than double those 2 scout are getting
why have 2 great scouts .. when i can push 5-6 more to become scouts through PT and have much more balanced team ?
We need to run a test - 18 year old 5* (1 skill point away from 6*) vs 22 year old 6* scout (1 skill point away from 7*) and give them both enough packs to 8* and then 9* and then write down how many green packs both players used to get there. Then we can find out whats better choice. Possibly the 18 year old since you will get 4 more seasons out of him.
You have to remember scout player starts 75 skill points ahead of the 18 year old.
I will do this at the beginning of next season when I have tokens available and also be buying a few new players.
If I remember approximately it cost me about 500T to get a 23 year old scout all the way from 6*89 to 9*100 in Level 13.
interesting .. will do that next season.. am now top of league .. marching steadily to Cup and CL final .. so what is the point?
am slowing down on my use of greens.. as reaching end of the season, and tbh I rather wait & save my green and buy 5* 18yo next season and PT them as they he will be 75 points points ahead my current 18yos old, and my 18yo will be scouts anyway in the next days just by skills gained from playing the remaining matches in my fixture, i noticed a slow down once they are close to the scout level (aside from one who is still gaining around 250 points from hard 60% session)
I've stopped using greens and reds for the remainder of the season or try not to use reds, we would have to if someone v.important gets injured, I've only got 8* Mensah out at the minute for 3 more days (2 tomorrow) so he would be back for the 2nd leg of the CL Semi-Final. I need to stock up on free boosters for Day 1 of the new season.
I start to understand your different opinions but could you guys help me out with the points gained after training? Should I use them right away on my player or just wait until later on?
