New players first match

Is it just a wrong sensation or the new players make very bad performance in their first day in team?

I'm going to check but in the last three matches my new players (1 gk, 1 mc and 1 st) got 4, 4 and 5 in their "report card".
I won 2 matches and lost the third.

Any similar experience?

Last season my ML always had rating 5 and 6. He started performing well the last few matchs.

Yes, I always check out morale, trying to keep it over the 80%

Bought a new AMR AMC AML off the scout list yesterday. Scored two and MoM on his debut with a rating of 9.

New players.
My strategy:
First day: Stretching, Cardio one session of each.
Second day: Stretching, Cardio, Subs bench with 5min appearance, then a practice with the rest of the squad.
Third day: Booster packs to Condition & Morale to max if needed, then let him rip.
Take little notice of form ratings personally. 99% are random or the game engine manipulating them to stop better players progressing to fast, especially with scouts.

Missed chances, yellow cards, fouls, just got SP from another game or a training session, there are so many factors we can only guess at that could affect the way the game engine uses to rob a player of form.

Last night 5 scouts all with 8 or better, 3 got a SP, Cid my 22yo 4* 42, DML/ML '6' for form, yet he got 2 SP. Yeh right!
