I am level 3 manager and i know that when u levelup your players looses one star but attributes remains same.
I have few questions
1. Player value also decreases when u levelup ?
2. What is the best time to sell players, at the start of the season or end of the season ?
also i have lots of young players age 19-22 who are 4 stars
3. Should i sell these players and buy 5 star players, or keep them ?

2. At beginning of new season, managers then spend tons of tokens.
3. If they are your best players, you should keep them as subs or reseves, sell weaker ones and buy 5 stars, depends how much tokens and money you have.

If you are on top three, you need to buy a lot player
Or you on top 7 you just need change 2 or 3 player
One last point is your player going to be 5 Star?
On lvl3 you should be able to win league with avg. 4 stars first eleven, of course check other teams and their ratings. Use your best players for cup and champions league unless you have 2 strong opponents in one day, then use green packs...
I suggest you to get players for every position if it's possible, then you'll be able to use all possible formations, that's sometime more important than quallity.
My team lacks only dmr to cover all positions.

Mouse over a player stars... you got some numbers there... You should know that after every last number 4 or 9 that player will get another star.Quote:

Hi, each period is good for me to sell my players I no longer need.
If your players have been constantly trained in the correct roles ---> skilled managers could pay a lot of money to get them.
For example: I very little care about attacking attitude in goalkeepers
I do not auto assign cones to players. I add cones to defensive attributes for defenders and attacking attributes to mids and strikersQuote:

I change a player when:
1) he's going to get retired (of course) or he has nothing more to give in my team (even if he's young and 5 stars rated)
2) he's over 25 and his training power is too slow
3) his quality level is substantially no longer good in the new season.
Managers who operate like you,can analize all aspects of your players,choosing them for the abilities they need by a player (they'll really try to make a good bid ..)
