well this is what i think is happening with different level teams in league against each other and it stems from when they bought in taking over new club.

the higher level teams are taking over lower level teams for a new challenge, meaning that higher level team`s are defunct as no-one from lower level can take over the higher teams, i got this idea from another thread where a level 35 team has taken over a level 9 team, so who`s taken the level 35 team ??

yeah this is ridc surely the idea is to get to the top not just to take over new club and start again after investing 2 years into a club

The other team becomes a "bot" and is deleted from the game at the end of the season.

precisely that`s why lower level teams are getting screwed with jumping up level`s because no-one takes over these teams

It must be part of the reason, I have been thinking that too. If the managers of high level Teams take over a lower level, that's great for them, but then there is less Teams at the top since few are going to choose to level up when Taking Over, most will choose to start over at a much lower level.
