is there a limit to the amount of players you can sell in a season ?, is there a transfer window? ive been trying to sell some players for ages.

You can sell all the players you want, but keep in mind that your team must have at least 14 players. You can't sell players that are retired.

You mean players that are going to retire after the current season. If they are retired, they're not even in the game anymore.

Regarding the OP, I'd try to sell when many are around. Early in the T11 day is good for buying but bad for selling.
