Training Calculation

Right, so i have a player who has the following stats:

Star Level: 5*
Quality: 23

Defence:22
Attack:25
Physical and Mental:23.2

Adding these up and dividing by 3 i get an average of 23.4.

So (24-23.4=0.6) So 15x0.6 = 9 skill points to next Quality.

Now onto the star - The next star for the player in question will be 25. So, (25-23.4=1.6) So, 15x1.6 = 24 skill points to next star(Scout)

Is that worked out right? If so, i heard some people say that it's better to sell the player just before they rank up to the next star, is this true dv8r?

Yeah that looks right

And it depends if you want him or not... If you don't think he will play for the next season then sell him, people will always buy a player close to the next star

He is only 21 so it's hard to say. Would he really progress that much further.

He will lose a star next season so it's up to you and what your team will be like next season

So the best thing to do is try and get him up to the next star or just before it and ship him out before the next season? I am only in Level 1, have to bear that in mind.

Your calculation is correct. You do need 24 to get to next star level at 25. Using my method its:

Defence 22 (need 3 for 25) = 3x5 = 15.
Attack 25. (need 0 as he's already there).
Physical 23.2 (need 1.8) = 1x5 + 4 for the extra .8, = 9.

Total required: 15 + 0 + 9 = 24.
