Crazy rates in the games

I begin a new thread http://forum.topeleven.com/tutorials...ers-chris.html and I was making a research about how rate of the players in the games affect gaining (+ raise) for skill points. Well rate doesn’t affect raise except the man of the match.
But I ‘ve seen many crazy things so that I believe rate has a bit of random. I, from now on will not take it seriously to judge a player. Here some examples.



Well 0-12 isn’t so bad, so the four defenders of the looser had the same rate with mine.

He is in a team LV5 and his manager put him alone against 4 defenders, monsters of 5-6* , 32-37Q but Misrun did the job even if he is only a DM of 12Q , so he deserves a rate of 7.



But this team has another legend – Calichio , a ST with 1 star, 12Q who even if his value is 24k and his age 34, fighting along with 35* monsters of League LV5 , is doing magic things in the field (ok he has only 1 goal in 12 matches) so he deserves the rates of 7 and 8.

nothing in this game makes any sense....it's a poor program....most of it's random....although at the end of every season the league looks kinda ok based on every teams stats and form....still a poor game though....

well, you never know know where you can find a really GK, maybe a 34 y.o. DC can have excellent rates !

so my ST, after loosing the penalty against this GK, he got a 7 (even if he and 2 goals and 1 assist), his moral dropped and I had to sent him in a psychologist to take a blue pill. Fortunately he overcome after that.

The biggest single issue I have is with GK's. There desperately needs to be a different set of ratings for them and there needs to be NO WAY for an outfield player to end up in goal barring 2 injuries in a single game. If a team doesn't have a healthy GK prior to a match the system needs to place a weak older one on the roster and in the lineup. Also the ratings for GK's are just nuts. How does a keeper that earns a clean sheet end up with a 5-6 while one who concedes 5+ can have a 7-8? The ratings for holding mids are just as bad. Though for this season I solved that by having my main CDM being my FK specialist and also using the forward arrow. My 2nd at the position and last seasons starter suddenly came on at the end of season 1 and went from looking like a sure bust to a consistent 7-8 rating and a pretty solid scorer. Now I play quite often with the favored Special One formation 4-2-3-1 with a lot of success.


I think we need to see a wider disparity between skill categories for nordgens. CB's and ST's shouldn't have nearly equal offense and defense.


Finally for this post anyway we need to be able to train wing players to play either side without training them centrally. You see a lot of pure wingers who can play either side but have no business playing CM/CAM/CDM. Same is true with FB's of course. Using Chelsea for example sake Cesar Azpilicueta can play RB or LB but not CB while Ivanovic is more like this games version where he can play RB and CB. Hazard always starts out left but switches to the right and back again often during game play. FIFA is good with this as switching your wingers is an in game option but lacks the ability to actually change a players listed position.


Why can't one game just do all the simple things? Instead we have one game that does A right and B wrong and another that does B right and A wrong? It is irritating.

I am working strongly on the form and ratings of the players in each game this season. I can say I have noticed few things so far.

Let's start from a new player that joined my squad a week ago, was planning to use him as a substitute for the League matches. I started a kind of rotation as there are too much matches this season competing in the 3 tournaments to force the same 11 players to play all matches.

His name is Husinec, as u will see he is only 21 years old and really a fast trainer compared to younger players of my squad.
He never dropped his form under 7 and in 13 matches has been nominated 3 times MOM.




The form and ratings have loads of factors. I stated the rotation from the 5th day of the season and I saw loads of players performing better. But when the whole squad was changed from a match to another I had some bad ratings in some players. I put Husined to play near a 6 star player and his performance is always high as he has the necessary help from his team-mate.

With loads of tries I finally have 18 players out of 20 with perfect form (7-8 mostly and some 9 in some games). My personal opinion is that an important factor was the change of mentality in each game which was kept in all games with no changes during the games or from game to game. Even if some people choose to change their formation depending on the oponent's formation, my experience showed me that with a good squad, keeping the same formation in all or most of the games can do only good to your team and therefor increase the performance and form of the players.

So , as you can see below there are only 2 players we can doubt about their form. I will post the results of benching them for more than 3 days in the future, that's something I wanna check. Pisano is a rightfooted DML That doesn't make sense to me so maybe that is a factor the player cannot perform in this position and the only good thing to do would be to sell him if the benching has no progress, could be the type of play used and the guy is simply not able to play that way, still checking...



My opinion is that the rotation program has to have some tactic. I personally make 3 substitutions in every game and changing 3-4 players from game to game on the first 11 starting. That showed me a much better performance of my players.

hey my friend Nicolas, your work is remarkable but I decided not to spend much time studying rates/form of the team because the game game is to unstable and there is a random factor that cannot help you make some clear conclusions.
I 'm not against this randomness because luck is a strong factor in football and also it's keeping the interest of that game - or else the stronger team would won every time.
As we talked before, I invested my time in the part of the game about fast trainers and still keeping this because I can see some pattern there and have some results that can help me (and decided to share it in the forum).
I kept some records and tried to found some patterns in form and injuries too but it was to random so I dropped it.
I just follow some basics, that's it.

I have another team which I 'm trying to keep it in the same league this season. Here is a game I had today.
