Does Cost or Value of player guarantee improved skill points?

Lets say there are two players aged 18. Both are exact same position, both with exact same statistics in everyway. Only difference is cost of the players. Lets say one is twice the cost of the other and they are both 3 stars on your level.

Are you guaranteed that the more expensive player will gain more training/skill points quicker?

And is it more likely that the more expensive player will be consistently better performer?

Just trying to see if there is any benefit to spending more on players in same positions with very similar statistics.

Higer price only means that the player will gain more skill points.
There's no guarantee for ratings/performing.. you never know

    1) Yes, he will gain skill points quicker, that is sure, that is why he is expensive.
    2) His quallity will increase faster, but form itself depends on other factors.

Thats a good example of 2 players, both same quality & age but different value.

higher price means he is *more likely* to train faster. BUT! There are high priced youngsters that are slow, too.

You cannot tell anything from price on how he will play in your Team. His attributes show what he is best at, and if he has played you can look what ratings, but it still won't be a sure thing how he will perform for you.

The high cost fast trainers are coveted because they gain points well enough to stay in a Team longer term, if you get one that works in your Team you can have him several Seasons.

Expressed above is my own opinion. Your results may vary.

I think Cat says it exactly right. No characteristics (performance, training speed) are guaranteed. All indicators like price for training speed and stars for performance only means that they have a higher probability of being better. The higher priced player is more likely to train faster, but it is possible that the lower priced player could turn out that the faster trainer.
