Not training is as bad as over training, try splitting the training up but just use stretching and cardio, cardio 4 hours before the game and stretching some time after the last game.
You should, after a couple of days be able to add the odd Practice and be fine. certainly with the reserves if they only play one game all three should not be a problem. Watch their morale before training don't let it drop below good.
No training means your U21's are missing around 40-60% gains.
