    They changed the illegal formation rules, you need to have more then 1 central midfielder (MC, DMC, AMC)

    No it seems that it's not. Please see below ... I don't know what they do anymore ....

    So one single MC above ... no illegal formation.
    Now look below at the 4-1-4-1 possesion:
    80-20% bal possession-screenshot_3.jpg
    80-20% bal possession-screenshot_4.jpg

    This means 4-1-4-1 is illegal now?

    Maybe you got a red card for youre St ? I dont know i see now only 2 yellow it also can be you got a injured striker, but 4-1-4-1 is not illegal formations
