i had +15% possession and countered his formation and had winning bonus at max...

Easily. Strong midfield control. His 3MCs were overcoming your one MC. Strong defense against yours that was open on the flanks (always protect your flanks, unless he has NOT ONE player on the flanks, even in defense, they can get through as well).

When you have a +15% bonus possession and your overal possession is 55/45, you have to reconsider your tactics. When you have this kind of bonus, with a proper formation to face your opponent, despite his level, you should at leaste get over 60% possesion overall.

A good counter would have been 4-5-1 flat or a 4-3N-2W-1, attack down the flanks. Your midfield would've been under control, you had proper defense in the middle and flanks plus you were putting pressure on his flanks that were naked in the midfield.

Yes this is correct hun I have lost in the past and usually its because the other team scored more goals than my team ( cheek) lol so to prevent this try to score more than the other team !!!!!
