How do I deal with this team?

Hi,

I'm playing against a guy who only has 2 defenders. He takes 1-2goals every game but scores more and wins becuase of that.
I changed the pressure to the whole field and made him play on the counter.
Anyone has any other suggestions to face this opponent?

You should not have big problems if you have a good team, you will have 80% ball possession.

I got a 4-2-2-2, hoping my defenders can deal with his attack style.

Leyssens: if your opponent has only two defenders, he is playing an illegal formation. If one is playing an illegal formation (no wingers, no attackers, no goalies, ≤2 defenders), the opponent gets 80% ball possession. You will almost definitely win the game. All you have to think about is how many goals you're going to score.

Don't be so sure, there have been many threads on here about users failing to beat teams playing illegal formations.
