I think the final result is done by an engine and it is clear before starting the game. No matter what team, players, morale, fitness or formation you have.

Final result IS done by engine upfront (thats why you can't change anything 5 minutes before game start), unless you change something in the game (subs, formations, attitude, focus).

Just a am looking for another football manager.

I played one of the most famous managers for years, and then I decided to do some experiments. I saved game just before start, and lost 'cause one of my players got red card (penalty). Then I loaded the game, replaced player who got red card with another player (but changed nothing else), started the game and result was the same. Replacement got red card in the same minute giving away penalty and I lost...

You are taking this game too personally... It's just a game with it's own rules, it's not AUTHENTIC COPY of real life football... For God's sake, in real football you can't pick up some random guy on the street and make him better than Messi, CR, Pele and Maradona together... And someone who is willing to spend few hundred bucks can do it here... Is it fair to other players who can't afford it? Sure not... But, it's this game rule, accept it and play... or walk away... No one is forcing you to play...

so. i'll break my comment down so it would be easier to read and still respond to everyone and everything :

1. I don't think that the games are decided in advance -
i sometimes make changes to formation and subs and during the game and there's always an impact on the game.

last night iv'e changed everything at 70th minute and came back to greater stats then i had and was able to turn the game around to 2-1 victory.

2.Sh*t happens in real life too:

I'm a total football fanatic and let me tell you a few things iv'e seen:

A. Promotion match to 2nd Israeli division 2014- we (Macabbi-Jaffo) vs. Kfar-Saba:
we had 68% possession (according to sport sites) , 20 shots more , and KS player got a red card .
but one good attack at 87th minute made us lose 1-0.

B. Tottenham vs. Manchester City at the fa cup 4th round replay at 2004:
Man city were down 3-0 at half-time and got a red card.
But came back in the second half and won 4-3.


3. the quality points/stars doesn't matter.
his entire bench/reserve could be 1 star and the entire line up can be 7 stars -
so the team's average quality rating will be 4 stars.

4.player's stars doesn't always determines his ability-
sometimes a 7Q player can get a rating of 4 and a 3Q player will get rating of 8.
just like shevchenko who played for Chelsea- 77 games/22 goals and almost none of them changed a result.

5. you're not the only one who might have had top-morale , top-health and top-win-bonus...
as we know , he might have had it too.

6. ludogorets fc qualified to the champions with a central defender at the goal.
their fans thanked god and lady luck , the opposition fans cursed their luck.
my guess is that if it reversed: you'd be talking about a miracle-win and how the game is realistic in the sense that despite doing everything by the book - sometimes it's dumb luck that count.

7. The position of the red-carded matters a lot -
for example, if he's playing classic 5-3-2 with 3 DC , losing a DC means almost nothing.
if he's playing 3-4-3 , losing a DC is everything.



So , if you read this far,
how was your rating? and his?
what formations did you two use?
which position did the player who got the red card fill?

I believe that a lot of managers play this game like chess, and that is eventually their downfall. There is a random() function built into the game which gives it a sense of reality.

A weaker team will without any rhyme or reason bet a stronger team every now and than, I have posted again and again of real teams getting TROLLED in the F.A. cup. But this reality injection into the T11 engine seems to make certain managers crazy, it does that to me, but I believe this gives the game flavor and it maybe the best part of the game.

My advice to these managers is....

DEAL WITH IT.

There is one easy way to not lose money in this game.

DON'T SPEND ANY IN IT!!

It's a free game for god's sake!! Why would you want to spend money when you don't have to??

the only money that is spent on the game without choice is the money that you goes to your doctor for dealing with your blood pressure after a bad result against a friend...

The money you pay for tokens - isn't a donation.
it's a decision you make by yourself and for your own interests.

and if you ask me - it's a bad decision...
Because just like in life - money doesn't guarantee titles or success, it just gives better odds that can be accomplished by working methodically.

your not the only one that has been struggling against weaker teams, i`v been struggling against teams that are 14 quality lower ( max) and same as you with 6 quality lower, me thinks Nordeus has changed programme for lower teams this season ( forget tactics, moral fitness ect ) they are missing us stronger team`s giving them ( Nordeus ) hell

Ok, so i just watched my live match with a supporter as well.
This gave me 8% and then the bonus 2% for a total of 10% possession increase.
The game was at home too so the total possession boost was 15% overall.
Now figure this out...
Against a much weaker side...i lost the game 3-0 and i lost possession 20-80 which included 15% from the kickoff...???
WTH...that means that if i didnt login i would have had a total of 5% for the match...???
