No Bull Shi**ing...I want answer of this question from Nordeus Developers...

Why the hell a good performing player becomes a SH*T after Training a Special Ability...And before some one comes and says that I am wrong...

I have seen this happening on many occasions with 100 % success, so I will not take that any of the wrong Bull Sh*t...

1) I had a MC who scored 10 Goals in 6 Games ( without any Free Kick or Penalty ) always getting 8 or 9 rating...I trained him Playmaker SA and he stopped scoring, getting 7 rating in the match...

2) I had a Striker who was scoring 1.5 Goals per match, trained him One on One Scorer and after that he stopped scoring at this rate...Missing all the One on One chances while earlier he scored on all the One on One chances...

3) I have a MC who was getting rating of 7, trained him Dribbler SA and now he is getting 5 rating in all the match...

4) I have a Striker who had scored 8 goals in 4 league matches always getting 7, 8, 9 rating, trained him One on One Scorer and how he is getting 6 rating...

I have AML ML from Youth Academy who scored 15 goals in 17 matches last season... And then I taught him Shadow Striker SA... This season he scored 9 goals in 36 games... Nuff said... :rolleyes:

You might get away by Training Shadow Striker, Defensive Wall and Ariel Defenders but every other SA miss fires...:mad:...

Also not playmakers always when i buy or train them playmakers they got only many Yellows
Dribblers only slight usefull for ml aml mr AMr but when i train them SA i train shadow
Always for aml amc AMr or AMr St And when i train make SA's i make only Free kicks corner St's And mc's wahl And head Defenders 1/1 only gk's

From what I can think of by the games standards, once the player learns the special ability the game instantly identifies them with greater expectations on their shoulders and will rate them more harshly if they perform the same way as they do without the SA

As a player learns a SA more things are expected from them and they are expected to influence the match more often, but from what I have seen throughout my time here is that performance and ratings also take into account how many times their SA got triggered during a match and are expected to change and influence a game, however playmakers literally don't do jack **** and the ratings sadly tumble on the MCs that have it cause they are expected to make that defence splitting pass.

As for the goals return though, that is a mystery... Could their performance actually worsen?!

I feel for you, those statistics dont lie and im shocked by them!, I never train SAs, only ever done it once on level 1 and it too time consuming, however I was wondering if every given player has as set special ability to train in them but we have to gamble which one we pick!, unfortunatly there is no way of proven this as we can only train one SA to each player which I think is crap!, you get players like Messi that can dribble, take free kicks , penalty, one on one! so why cant we do it in this game?, if that was possible we could then see if a player is better with SA.

Interesting, it's not just me then. I have 4 MC's 3 of which are playmakers and one of which is a penalty specialist. The 3 playmakers are constantly yellow carded, they spend every other 3rd-4th match banned. The penalty specialist scores every time with a header a corner is whipped in...

I trained my AMR/AMC to be a Shadow Striker, and subsequently sold him the following season when he couldn't hit a barn door, despite being 3rd top scorer in my team and 2nd top assist before he was an SS. That being said I had signed and AML/AMC as cover who was an SS and when I had 2 out of 3 strikers injured for a run of matches I played him up front (on the right) and he scored every match....

Bizarre.

I also have experience the Playmaker as card getter. Some SA's do not seem helpful. I won't train another Playmaker!
But FK and Penalty seem to work (sometimes)
The SA's I really like are Defensive Wall and Corner Kicker


The problem with SA's is you lose all the cones to the SA's when training him, and then have to catch up it terms of Q so I only train them very rarely now, and on a super fast trainer that their attributes fit with the SA, the ones born with SA's the skill set doesn't always fit, like a DC with FK, and so the skill is pretty useless unless you add to his attacking attributes..

I think the answer for this is simple after all... Good players don't need SA... and any SA wont help bad player to play better... I have corner taker who scored more hat-tricks from FK than any striker who plays 90 minutes every game or any player with FK ability...

LoL...Yeah you are right...But then SA makes no sense...A good player don't need them and a poor play will continue to play poor even with SA...

But what is annoying is why a good player becomes bad after learning SA...If he doesn't become good then at least he should also not become bad...

There is no way I would exchange 40 or even worst 50 skill points into a SA, when i could just address those lovely points into improving player's quality....not trying to play smart or anything - I have fallen for that myself in the past, but never again Nordeus, never again!


Do not spend your hard earned skill points into special abilities, unless you plan to make big sales with your young ones.



For years now, it has been a damn pile of hidden issues and this sucker just gets higher and higher)
Just dont do it until Nordeus clear many many many things up !!!

make a player SA if you plan to make him at least 7*+. if you play him at only 6* i don't see the point to do such a stupid thing

I just like to train SA, I am not training them SA in order to gain any performance boost as I know SA are cosmetic...But at least I expect that their performance will not deteriorate...
