Champions League (yesterday): The canteen staff get another run out as the Buffs hold a 5-0 lead from the first leg. Amazing Mince Chefs Senga Rustyspoon and Chantelle Aphrodite Hermione Watt played as STs to avoid injuries. Alas Chantelle broke a nail after only 9 minutes and is out for 4 days.

The Buffs lost 1-0 (5-1 agg) but go through.

League: The Buffs welcomed the bottom club and Chantelle's apprentice Holly Bush stepped in. Poor performance from the Support Staff again as the Buffs draw 1-1. (The Buffs had only managed 4 shots, 2 on target after 75 mins but grabbed a late equaliser.)

It is likely the Buffs lead will be cut back to 6 pints by the end of the league round.

Cup: And so to the main event. The Buffs held a 3-1 lead from the away tie but remained nervous over the first goal today. No need - a disciplined performance by the Buffs 4-1-3N-2 against a skew-whiff ND saw 2 1st half goals put them on Easy Street with Law adding a 3rd in a hard attacking finish. 3-0 on the day and 6-1 on aggregate.
