How am I losing against teams miles below my rating

I just faced a team who's starting 11 included no one over a 3 star rating, my team has 7 4 star players, 3 5 star players and 1 3 star player. I had all the possession and plenty of shots but lost 2-1. My morale is full on all my players and I play a standard 4-4-2 diamond formation. My opponent played a 3-5-2 and from what I could tell from commentary couldn't retain possession longer than 2 passes most of the time.

I do have to agree with you on blaming Nordeus, they should address some of the issues present in the game. The other one that is starting to piss me off a little at the minute is the injury rate.
