what to do with my striker

what must i do with my striker? in the competition he only scored 4 times and 4 assists. he is a 5 star player.
although it sounds pretty well but i scored 41 times after 8 matches in the competition and only 4 from him....
his morale and condition are always between 90-100%.
is there a way to make him score?
i play in a 4-1-3-2 formation (dl,dc,dc,dr,dmc,mc,mc,mc,st,st)

but too "dangerous" ... if is gonna fail even harder ?

my advice let him some matches on the board and put him on the field after half time ... maybe he decide to score

do you mean a formation with only 1 striker? because 1 have 2 5 star and 1 6 star striker... the 6 star already scored 8 goals in 8 competition matches. both strikers that starts are one to one finishers.
but maybe i must change some settings to send my strikers to the goal instead of my midfield. but i don't really know what i must change then.

exactly what Ro Edu sais, i don't like to take the risk to change to a 1 striker formation. this season i only lost to a lvl 16 in the cup (i'm lvl 2) scored 41 times in the competition and only 2 goals against. but the striker i want to score is named after a friend of mine XD that's the reason why he must score.

My striker scores a ton of goals and he's a lone striker, guess it's different for everyone then

My striker are not brilliant but rotating 5 of them when I primarily use one is difficult, so hardly their fault.
AS last season AM's ruling the roost, they do play every game though along with my DMR/ML and AML/ML/DML who are also scoring well from deep positions.

`but how is your midfield? many amc,aml or amr? because i only have 1 amc and he is only 4 star...
that's one part of the problem...


and the settings are:

team mentally : normal
passing: through the middle
pressure: on own half
tackling: normal
way of passing: through the middle
cover: area cover

no countering or offside trap.
