Hi guys,whats the rules in Champions League for reach the Knockout stage?my team finished 3rd in group,but i have 10points,so has the 2nd team,and my score is 11:8 an his 9:7......so my goal diferrence is bigger....so why am i the 3rd and dont pass on????pls explain if u know....

It is about aggregate score between you and him.
Happened to me last season,I had a better score than my opponent,but lost 3-4 home while only winning 1-2 away. So 5-5,but he scored more goals away and took the first place in the group.

thanks for answer....i have no idea it works like this...i lose to him 0:4 and today i winn 3:0..just bad luck!

Yep I know. I was leading 3-1 at home match and lost 3-4. 3 goals conceded in 10 minutes. Bad luck too!

Hi,in real Champions League it exactly works in such this way.
Then,if your aggregates and away scores between the 2 teams are the same,next parameter is the goal difference (that's global,considering all results).
