But here's the thing, there is those games when your players do bad, often as not it seems against weaker teams.. everyone has them (not true either, as there are managers that achieve perfect seasons) -- I have those matches maybe once a season where my players just inexplicably failed to show up in the match. I don't like that either, but as it is part of the game I just try to win all matches and realize that I won't always win but have fun trying.

Forget all of that. If I've read things correctly there's a cup draw and somehow a Lvl 3 manager with mostly scout level players is through to the semi-finals of a lvl 2 manager cup. Forget all the rest ... but that's a bit shoddy.
