Just a quick comment.

If ppl take over a club because they want the fun back then employing a tank n buy/sell strategy could be counter-productive - unless the fun is 10-0 wins and eventual repeated humpings in the Cup. Sometimes just being competitive can be more fun but as I said before it depends on what you want so....

....think carefully what route you go down.

I think there are more active managers (although not that experienced and good) on lower than on higher levels.
If he want's stronger competition, he can add active buyers form same level on transfer market at 1st and 2nd day of season (before league starts), some of them could play in same league as him...
