i`m also looking in the long run i have these players for 6/7 seasons and so i won`t need to dabble in transfer market unless a cracker turns up so i`ll be saving money every season.

EDIT; MOST IMPORTANT I`LL ALSO BE SAVING TOKENS
Why 4 stars? For me my team is all 5 stars with the goalie 6star, 1DC 6 star, 1 DMC 6 star, 1 MC 6 star and AMC 6 star. Thats called the spine of the team. All football teams build their squad around the spine. You need to figure what formation you use and who are the most important players. For me I chose AMC over ST because I like to exploid the hole to pull defenders out of position and he's averaging 1G+1A per game. My DC's are all with Arial Abilities to defend corners, FBs both with Wall Defend to defend freekicks. I have playmaker but don't use him much because all the focus I put on the AMC. If you play 2 DMC, I suggest one of them is a playmaker or else leave that job to a MC. I also like to pack my midfield always and play with 1 ST to keep possession. Age has no factor in your case, take some fun time to think of what players are needed to play your philosophy of football. Lastly no formation wins against any formation guaranteed, they are guides for you to understand the game engine. For example I got beaten by a weaker team with 4-4-2 formation against my 4-5-1 V shape. Now if you look at How to win against formation i'm supposed to win right. Now I think about it my DMC should of turned to AMC to freely attack rather than freely defend. I'm not saying that thread is wrong but I have different philosophy. Since you have best quality in the league, you don't need to change formation to beat your opponents, it should be the other way around. Since you watch all the games and they don't, keep all you starting formations the same and during the game tweak it to find space and gaps. If by near the end of the game you winning by a big margin put your players back in the starting positions so your opponents can't review your past tactics. In order to do this perfectly your players should atleast be able to play 2 positions each but not the same. example 2 DCs one should be DC/DR, 1 is DC/DCM so same to the rest of players so then you could freely turn your starting 11 into a different formation from neutral to attack or defend without using subs. Just my 2cents, hope you do well with your youngsters and get some silverwares.
