I always lose to friendlies, why?

My friend always beats me at friendly matches with my team conceding many goal. My average team quality is 23.8 for level 2 manager and I am dominating my league being unbeaten. Only lost 2 matches in cup when I didn't watch the match and had injured player on pitch. My friend team rating is 18.8 and he is 5th in his league level 2. I have a better keeper than him by far 5 star strikers and 4 to 5 star defence and midfield. I've put out my best squad, had 100% condition and moral. Even tried the counter formation business yet he always beats me. He never bothers with tactics or has his players in a good formation. One time he put out a squad with an injured player in defence and players in wrong position and still he won. I don't mind getting beat but not like this. I expect that I should be winning the majority of the time due to better squad and tactics. Any ideas why this is happening?

Don`t look at Average as that the whole squad, it`s all down to first 11/14

I have some good players in my second team but comparing my first team to my friends first team I have a much better squad. I feel like Chelsea in the league but I play burnley every week in a friendly and burnley beat me every match 5 or 6-0

Maybe a screen shot of the matches in question would produce more advice?

Friendlies are different that regular competition matches, too, so I don't use them as a real take on how my team is doing, if you are winning in League I wouldn't worry about it.

Never gauge team capabilities through friendlies. There is a different game engine for friendlies. Your team and opponents team never play to their potential. It's a toss of a coin.

Maybe your player have statistic bad, exs 5-6-6-4. And your friend have player with good statistic.

Maybe his player are bad from the start of the season...and he didnt realised that...
My idea is that:Check the players at statistic
Replace the players with bad statistic
See what went wrong in friendlies...

Don't take these games results serious.

I play quite a lot friendly matches against low level friends. I usually win. But my lower level 2nd team occasionally has hard time against teams which may be 10 skill points apart. I am not sure, but as I remember, usually the team also does not perform well in other normal /friendly matches on same day. So I believe this is a problem relating to team form.

I don't use friendly matches to test my team. It's for earning tokens or color packs. When I feel uncomfortable to play, I will stop.
