Impossibility of buying new players

Hell everybody,
I started today my 30th season (level 29) and I have the problem that I can't buy any players! In the last seasons I only spent like 2-3 tokens for a 5* player (even with special ability) and in this season I spent like 15 tokens and I could only buy 1 player because there were so many people offering. How's that possible? For every player I want to buy there are people who offer 20+ tokens o.o

It does happen, it maybe depends on which server you are on. I have a team level 31 and I can buy easily, but there are not many top players available, but I find it virtually impossible to sell. I have another team level 23 and the market there is as you describe, I have plenty of money and not a huge amount of tokens, but the bidding wars are fierce and I will not get involved. Possibly the server re-allignment (as has been mentioned on here) has not gone in your favour.

The same happens to me. I think it has to do with changes they are doing with friends. Have a look at Leo release note in the official thread. The point is that this season a lot of managers of different servers are bidding for the same set of players, so between 15/20 managers are bidding for the best players, and 4/5 are bidding for oldies, normal players. Reading the forum, this is not happening in all servers, I hope they fix it soon, otherwise I will quit, because one of the things I like most of this game is the creation of a competitive team every season, and now it is impossible.

I`m happy for new challenge but more importantly if they have mixed server`s up and i end up back too level i should be then i`m happy as i am for one SICK of coming up against higher level teams in league and I CAN`T EVEN sign player`s in the transfer market for that level

The annoying thing is, I thought there are so many people bidding because it was sunday, but today there were as many people as yesterday and I don't have a decent team for the upcoming CL -.-

It's in the News thread. I don't know if we'll have to deal with it forever, but it's crazy, look at this picture.:29 rounds, TRANSFER fee more than double of MARKET value... And at the beginning, more than 10 managers bidding. And this is not the exception, all bidding for Young players in my server are like this.

yeah....i'm really hating this too. All of a sudden on league 60, I cant buy any 5 or 4 star players because like 50 different managers are all on the market. This happens any time of day with any age or value. This NEVER happened before and bidding rounds, as cholo pointed out, last till like 50 and more than double the player value as well as DRASTICALLY INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF TOKENS NEEDED which makes it IMPOSSIBLE for free players and IMPOSSIBLE for even high token buyers. Plus this is just for one player; each season you usually need 2-5 new quality players to maintain a good quality team. Sure, it's great the Nordeus is trying to make people able to support their friends better but when that prevents buying and selling players...then it's not worth it. Please fix this issue by next season Nordeus or you will sadly lose MANY experienced and devoted players of your game

it happened to me i never got any decent 5* players so i got 2 that are between 30-33 years old and 5* rated but what i normally do is keep my players until they reach 3* then sell them on
