AI penalties if you played a player out of position?

ok, i know a player moral will drop if i played a player out of position.. the QS is is there any other hidden penalties for playing them out of position?
am asking bcz am gonna play a friend who knows how i play andvice versa, and we both keep changing formations from a game to another , so there is no way to predict what formation he will start with or even switch to during the match.. so am sure i will need to amend my formation and thus force to move players out of positions to have a better formation that counter his one
i will see if my players form drop or not after the match and report back, will check the moral too

Not that I am aware of. I play my AMR as MR or ST and scores goals there.

i noticed though you had mentioned in other posts that your team is far superior than rest, so that could be one of reasons why it didn't had an effect that day

i just had a cup game, and made some tests as was playing with my reserve, and did substitute my fullbacks to preserve their condition for a key league game with 2 CBs .. i noticed i lost possession and they started to create more chances

for 2 games i opted to play more than 3 players out of position so i can be able to pick best formation that counters opposition one

the outcome on each match was:
game 1 : 3 players rating 6,7,7
game 2 : 3 players rating 6,7,7

that was almost equal to their average rate
especially the 6 one was due to fact i played LM as CM .. while directing my all my attacks to the flanks AML/AMR.. so sure he was not involved alot .. but my gain of possession really worth it for picking the right formation
i never noticed big drop on their moral .. i think that is just a myth .. well unless the player understand it is a temporary option so he is ok with it

same in my game too .. i barely win 1-0 saving all my attacks and he was MOM
I think people should not worry alot about playing players out of position
