    Can't sell players

    Hello,

Since the start of this season I try to sell 4 players, it’s now day 8 and i’ve put them on the market 4/5 times every day. Still, they won’t sell. I set the price to the minimum, I’ve even changed the names of them in to the names of popular players.
I’m niveau 13, these are the players:

    GK - Manuel Neuer, age 20, 4 stars (75), worth 27,8 million/price 19,5 million

    DMC, penalty specialist – Sergio Busquets , age 33, 5 stars (80), worth 24,3 million/price 17 million

    MC, corner specialist - Andrés Iniesta, age 32, 4 stars (75), worth 19,1 million/price 13,4 million

    AMC/AMR – Cristiano Ronaldo, age 32, 4 stars (75), worth 19,2 million/price 13,4 million

Why can’t i sell them? I try it at every point of the day, morning, afternoon, evening, night. Even the young GK won’t sell. I think I am on the old tranfer market (if it matters), because there are always 5 star players available.

What can I do to sell them?

    Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem. I want to sell 18-year-old player.

The problem you have is that each player has just gained a new star - thus they are the weakest players on the market at their star level, with age against the majority of them.

If everyone of those players was 1 point lower (as in 74 or 79) then they would probably have sold as they would then appeal more to the managers bidding to them, as to anyone bidding for them they could potentially be close to becoming 6 star players for their new team.

I've found its often wise to start looking midway through the season at players who you think you will be getting rid of at the start of the next season and seeing how far they are off their next star - and if they are close to getting it, selling them before they achieve it is often the best way to get them out of your squad. Later on in the game when player values seem to plateau around the 105M mark you won't even lose out money wise on it either.

That makes sense! thanks Out of desperation I've tried to sell my 20 year old 79 (5 stars) keeper, he went away by the first try (unfortunately). So I think you are right.
