If you are "constantly losing/drawing", that's not random.

I'm sorry that I cannot really help on finding a logic for this. But if you still attempt to handle this, I suggest considering that your team is in a bad form. Try to sit out under-performing players, maybe giving chances to lower quality players. Sometimes they are good and consistent. Monitoring the sit-out players performances in friendly matches. If possible, don't use them until their performance improves. If a player played well before but now need a very very long time to improve their performance again, I consider them as inconsistent players and will try to replace them in long term. You should also try to alter your formations.

I may have less experience comparing with you. I just share my opinions on handling bad form even if probably you have already known. Usually my team will recover from bad form. It's usual my team turnaround in 2nd half of the season. Probably it's because I need to wait new season to add a few 5* players. My team is not excellent but my teams never failed to promote.
