Yesterday I had 43 tokens, now only 27 without spending any.. HOW?

I was saving up for next season to get 1 or 2 scouts, but somehow I lost almost 20 tokens! How?

Have you entered into "negotiations" for 2 players? That would hold up your tokens temporarily, until the initial offer expires.
