Height of a player as criterion

Hi my friends
I want your advice about which one player to keep for my next season.
Both are nordgens, with the same sa, their stats are similar so their age and gaining ability in training.
For some tactic reasons I must keep only one.
I wonder if the height of the player maybe can be a criterion so to choose the taller one. I didn't see so far any difference between them. They score from shots, not from corner passing (and not from free kicks).
Is also height can make a difference in defending ability of a MC ?

They have the exact weight and height as Ronaldo and Messi. So it is up to you to choose one of them :D

I would keep the 2nd one.... he is a scout... has better stats than 1st....

They don't have much difference in quality. It's about 20-25 skill points and the first one is (for now) faster trainer than the other. He gets about +80 in 3 bars practice match while the short now has +55.
With an extra training and my green packs I can have him in the new season as a scout.

But more than that... 2nd player form stats r better.... he has 3 mom and gets an avg 7.... me would prefer the 2nd

Well, I don't count on rates of MCs much. Usually my MCs have a range of 6-7-8 and it's not steady. Only one year I had a MC that had steady rates of 8 and some 7 or 9 but he had many goals as a free-kick specialist.

Taller MCs tend to do better in the game than shorter ones, but in your case I would keep the second one cause he had more goals, more MOM and more Q

Maybe I could use them together in the same next games (because I have other two MC and using rotation) and see who 'll get the highest stats.

No he have less goals. first guy do one goal every 2 games and 2nd guy do one goal every 4 games.
2nd guy have a little more SP but first one train faster.
A mom with only 7 rating means the team was doing bad, not that he was playing good.
2nd guy also have more 6 rated games.
I would get 2nd guy to Q 59 and then sell him, guess he already have enough SP for that.

No, the 7s are the latest rates. He got 8 when he got MoM.

Yes, one of them gonna be sold in the last days of the season but I don't want to spend extra green packs just to raise the price. I have some boosters but I prefer to use them on the player I 'm gonna keep the next season. That's why I 'm in a hurry to decide who gonna keep.

but my main question is about the height of the player if it's a strong criterion to choose,
because all the others, rates-goals-mom come and go in every season, especially in MC positions.

You don't need to spend any greens, you already have 57 saved skillpoints that should be enough to take him to Q59.

Height has no affect on a players performance although many people are sceptic about this just like Special Abilities...

How can you be sure about it ? Do you have any experience about this ?
I can say that I rather agree with you (ok 80%). It's like the nationality of the player, his favourit foot or the weight.
I believe that those characteristics are probably a part of random char.generator. Of course there are some parameters like the height and the position. My taller players are GK,DC and ST while the shorter are AMR-D-L. This hasn't anything to do with the performance. My AMR and AML are short but super players.
But it's this time that I must choose so that's why I 'm a little more sceptic about it.

So No1 day race results (after giving all the skill points to them- Didi, the tall is 68q and Gerson, the short is 70q).
Won my first leg in CH.L., 0-3 out.
This is also the gaining progress of the match.
I gave them a training in 2 bars/practice.
I also had a draw in my league (4-4, Didi scored 1 goal)

Day 2 and the race is on fire.
First, the training results of the day, where ofc. Didi with less q has some more gaining than Gerson.

Then, the game of the day, a league game. I won 4-0 and my players, Didi the tall and Gerson the short, wanted to prove that they deserve a position in my team for the next season. Didi scored 2 goals and Gerson 1.
So winner of the day is Didi again.

Man of the match, my ST Zico :confused: who was invisible in the game except two passes to his team mates (but they failed to score) that's why I decided to sub him.

day 3, started with my second semi final in Champions League. Both players didn't do much but Didi the tall got a 7.

A friend set a friendly against my team. I didn't watch it. Gerson the short, scored 3 times but got only 7 - same as Didi :confused:
I think the program isn't fair to Gerson.

Ok, the latest news.
I played my Champions League final.
There, Gerson the short scored twice and got an 8 while Didi got 7.
But I had decided to keep Didi because he had less quality and I wanted to keep low my team.

So Gerson sold to a guy lv9 (he also bought another of my players. I make him friend and I saw the first game of my x players.
T SILVA did a good job but GERSON no. Got a 6.
So, guess what, he decided to sell him. No second chance from my player. :(
I make a whole competition who to choose and he sold him after only one game :eek:

7-8 months passed after I started this thread and there is an interesting story here.
Salah FC, the team of previous post, which bought my player is now lv13 same with me.

and now back to the main subject of this thread. The height of a player.
Today I played a league game which wasn't important for me (league table & championship is closed for me :D ) so I played with some "bad" performers and made some tests in positions.
The result was a draw.

Man of the match was a player I bought this season, a fast trainer, DMC which I also gave MC position and thinking to give him also a DC position (instead of some useless sa :o ).
Even if I don't believe that personal characteristics of players have some functions, the height of Cerezo made me wonder - with 1.69 he is tall for a hobbit, but for a DC ?
Finally he made it, won mom and the best rate he had this season, playing out of position - lol
