I'm usually quite happy with my MCs after buying and selling a few - if I play tactics that involve them then they perform, if I not they can be a bit temperamental.

Although normally the high performance that the OP is experiencing comes from a new one with FK or CK SA.

I believe midfielder is the most important position in the game, if you have 3 midfielders constantly getting rated 8 and never below 7, it is very difficult to lose any game. As said before, control the midfield and they have no chance to score whatsoever.

But to maintain form 7+ is a big challenge, even if you have 5 or more MCs in the team.
