i`v just renewed 5 of my player`s contract`s and only got 2 yrs instead of the normal 3 yrs, here`s the kicker they are all under 22 so not retiring any time soon, so what the hell is going on with these gormless developer`s ??

its the new season so that's why u saw 2 years instead of 3.They count the last season as one
If you can renew contracts the 2nd day of new season, it will be 3 years contract...Quote:

If the contract has expired, when you renew, it is only for 2 seasons.
WTF! If this is true, then it is scam to get more of the in-game money from you as now you pay the extortion(bonus) every 2 instead of 3 years. Its a significant amount = $87M for me and it was only 8 players.
if this is NOT true and signing on the 2nd day is for 3 years, then this is one of those small bugs that they need to fix.
Also they need to fix signing a youth player on Day 1 should be 18 years and not 19 years.
I've always accepted extending contract at last day.
Signing at second day on the next season is awkward as player don't recover condition when out of contract. Not being able to play on first cup game is also a risky move.
It is a fundamental flaw in the game, new contract should start AFTER the previous expired, not immediate. The only reason for the current system is that it is simple to code, thus won't generate so much stress on the servers.

Most of my teams I do contracts before first league match (then assign any held points.. er... anyway) one team was (and is still) too poor so I checked the one player I still need to re up:

Sorry Cat, don't get it. Is he a player of this team (Domino) ? If his contract was ended how do you sign with him at day 8. I thought you have only 7 days to sign the contract.
also, you had an offer for him for 3 years and the others had what ? 2 or 3 years ?
I don't get it why some get 2 yrs and some 3 yrs if it's bug needed to be fixed then we can email and asked for fix is it game rule then I shell accepted
this is the problem email support and they sent round in circle`s with the simplest of question ( Arse and elbow comes too mind ) plus Nordeus are too busy screwing up what was good about game and so they won`t replyQuote:

I wanted to ask if someone has 3 years contract when it has been expired, the first days of the new season.
I 'm usually sign the players the first day of the season, before the Cup game because the player has lost a % of his Value cause of the (+1 year) age. Also keep sp for those players and giving them after that.
* now with the new version I 'm thinking that maybe round the mid of the season it's a good time to resign and after that to give sp (because you don't know how it will be the next day in t11).
