Anyone else promoted from 8th?

I have been, when I did not want to. I was building a strong team to challenge for the title this season but now will find myself with an average team and will be unlikely to realistically challenge for the title.. I bought a scout player 3 days ago as I thought I would be in the same league. Feel cheated as that was one of the advantages of this game, you could spend a season avoiding promotion and building a team.

They only promote 8th or below if the League above hasn't got enough for an even draw, and I believe they go for a higher Q team (and I think held points go into the avg. could be wrong though)
