How to win vs 4-5-1

Hi All! I read the sticky about tactics but it never helped me winning.

It's 17.9(me) vs 18.9 (him) and he has a weird tactic. İ followed some of his matches, there is no "killer"formation vs his 4-5-1

He plays like this:

Dl - dc - dc - Dr
--(no dm)--
--Mc--mc--
Aml -amc -amr
----St----

Usually i counter 4-5-1 with 4-1-2-1-2 but in this case i would go for 4-2-1-1-2, the amc could be succesfull because of his lacking dm and 4defenders with 2 dmc and 1 mc should counter his stunning midfield.

İ would play defensive, mixed passes, maybe offside trap so here you go please give me some advise ;)

Guide says 4-4-2 classic.... but you'd need some strategic arrows I think.... make sure your MCs aren't going too deep...

Personally I like the Butterfly here.... with blue arrows on the DMCs probably...

And next time... this should be in the Tutorials section :P

And I didn't mean DMCs in above post.... I meant to say DMs.... in this case DML and DMR...

guess I should ask if you can fill all these positions....

someone help me i will play against 5-4-1 5 defenders 2 mc's one ml one mr and one ST : what do u suggest me what formation can i beat him with :???

There is no position i can't fill ;)

But if it is illegal it's no help ;)

I have.... and it was successful.... but it was also a weaker opponent... wasn't doing the numbers then...so I can't estimate percentage of possession I gained...

How about arrows and tactics? Defensive, through the middle? Mixed or short passing? Pressing

Just to inform you, I used 4-4-2 standard like in the Thread for countering, and won 2-1, let´s see how the 2nd match will be on saturday.

Im also playing againts 4-0-2-3-1 for second leg champions league tonight, first leg i used 4-4-2 standard, My quality is better than him (25.8 vs 24.9) but i only got a 2-2 draw..Really hoping to win tonight. What order did you use when u won 2-1 lasttime? Any arrows? Strategy? Please help
