Tips for this game

Hi guys. I am quite new to this game and have a big game thats coming up. I would like to know any tips you may have for it.

We seem quite well matched apart from maybe in age of players (Mine being older)

Any help would be great as I am doing quite well. I am top of most things and winning most of my last few games with 6+ goals.

You don't have enough defense.... I'd use the butterfly here as well.... that gives 5 back.... then attack his flanks.....

You may consider an Attacking mentality.... I think you are going to need shots, shots, shots... to score on his keeper....

Thanks Kyroshill. I am not a big Football fan but love manager type games which i why i am playing this... But I do not know what butterfly formation is. And when I find out what it is would you advise that I put the red arrows on midfield to make them attack? Or would you advise that I hard attack?

You got 4 defenders against his 1 st and 2 wingers. How's that not enough defense? Your formation is fine. I haven't looked closely because I'm on the phone but the only thing you lack is midfield possession. If your lone mc is very good then go with attack middle mixed passing. If you don't think your lone mc cant handle his 3 then drop the ml/mr put them in mc role, give him flanks, you go for middle. AMC is brilliant! If you must use the wingers drop a ST for an mc. You can't lose this. Don't need any arrows anywhere. Normal mentality if you drop the wings and attacking mentality if you drop a ST

That's why I'd run.... 3-2-2-2-1

You could put blue arrows on the DMs.... but I wouldn't unless you felt the need to go full defense late game....
You could put red arrows on the MCs.... but once again... this could be a mid-game decision if you needed more push....

No forced CAs.... I find it leads to less offense....
I RARELY play Offside trap.... and you NEVER EVER play it when your opponent has AMs....

Don't play that formation as you will lose.

Simple 3-2-3-2 is all you need.

3 DCs, DML, DMR, 3 MCs and 2 strikers. Sorted.
