How does Top Eleven work out where we are based?

Hi All

So on Holiday in Thailand and logged into Top 11 thinking Tokens may be available in THB instead of AUD

No Luck it still wants to sell Me tokens in AUD. So how does Top 11 work out what country we are in?

I think it's the IP when you launch the game initially is considered where your team is "based".

I might move to a different time zone, I wonder if my fixtures will change...

IP changed though as using Hotel Wifi, will check in a few days when I get to Bangkok and see what happens.

Fixtures times stayed the same, it just updated based on my Clock. Running the game via Phone and Laptop.

It'll be IP based for videos. That's why if you can seem to be in another timezone where vids are more readily available then you get more.

The other 2 main mechanisms for carrying geographic data I'd guess would be mobile number or facebook profile which I think kick in for fixtures when there is a fresh season start - but ofc I don't know just guessing.
