Since he is DC DMC, shot blocking would be preferable SA, but he is too old to start adding it now, unless you have 50 skill points unused... Or you can add DL or DR, depending on his preferable foot... MC would be waste, you can not bust defence much in that situation...

i have 50 saved and still 10 days too go for extra skill hence why neg list plus he`s either footed

Go for SA then... he will be 26 next season, so SA is better than new position... How far is he from the next star? Get him one skill point from the next star first, maybe you will get an offer for him b4 the next season...

that`s the whole point i spent tokens on him why should i not get some back for playing/training after 6 seasons and spending tokens for replacement ?? is that not the idea too manage your own finances - team/player`s so you can be successful every season ??
